About Andrew Maher
As a freshman at the Kelley School of Business, my passion for numbers and as well skill of critical thinking led me to my chosen major of accounting. Working with Mallory Alexander gave me an introduction into the operations of a large international logistics firm. This position provided me with the skills to fulfill my role in providing them with the necessary information to facilitate the everyday transaction, as well as carry them out. This experience developed my professionalism, communication skills and critical thinking skills. I hope to pursue an internship in accounting or finance to further develop my soft skills but more importantly build upon the hard business skills I am growing here at Kelley. The ideal working environment involves working with coworkers to enrich my problem-solving skills, creating a long-lasting impact in the organization. With my skills and experiences helping me thrive in my current environment, I am looking forward to more opportunities to challenge myself, further develop my skills and advance myself as a future businessman.
