I practice intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, and trade secret litigation. Relying on my technical background in developing source code and a degree in engineering, I have enforced IP rights and defended accused infringers in federal courts and before the International Trade Commission, from inception through trial and to appeal. This includes conducting direct and cross-examination of fact and expert witnesses at multiple trials, analyzing complex C++ and Java source code, and drafting post-trial and appeal briefs. I have litigated technologies involving streaming media, protocols (HLS, HDS, RTMP, DASH), software, LCDs, telecommunications, databases, and others.I further counsel companies on and provide practical solutions to the crucial IP issues in complex transactions. I have advised companies on transactions involving artificial intelligence, ad tech, telecommunications, and medical devices.I am admitted to practice in New York, California, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.
