Hi, I\'m Andrew! I\'m a software engineer professional and a lifelong learner equipped with both education and experience to pursue my passion for creative problem solving. I\'m driven by what I\'ve learned so far and what I want to learn next. As a result, my interests are constantly in flux; at the moment they seem to be focused on distributed systems, computer networking, and software performance. In terms of education, I started my undergraduate studies at Loyola Marymount University pursuing film & television production, but I ended it with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Recently, I graduated with a M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology with a specialization in Computing Systems. I have also worked part-time for Georgia Tech as an instructional associate.‍ As a software engineer, my professional experience has widely ranged from building cloud infrastructure, optimizing real-time embedded systems, and crafting front-end web interfaces. I thrive in environments where I can dive deep, figure out how things work, and creatively apply what I\'ve learned. Throughout my career, I\'ve worked on various teams at Raytheon, Microsoft, and Pacific Defense; I strive to bring both individual expertise and effective collaboration to every team that I work with. I\'m adept at \"figuring things out\" and not being tied to specific technologies, but I have notable experience with C++, C, Java, JavaScript, and Docker.
