ABOUT ANDREW KUNIGENAS
With my experience as an Assistant Superintendent Intern (Summer 2018) and Assistant Project Manager Intern (Summer 2019) along with the various other local construction companies I have worked for; it is safe to say working in the construction industry is my passion. As an intern for two large firms, I had the opportunity to gain valuable field experience while also learning various office-based construction skills. Having interned as both a Assistant Superintendent (Walsh Brothers) and APM (The Kraft Group) it has gave me the versatility to succeed in the various aspects of construction. While interning, I was able to apply these skills which enabled me to manage the work flow of the construction site while solving any problems or mishaps that came about. From using Procore/Bluebeam/CAD, conducting submittals, creating schedules, lining up sub-contractors, completing daily reports and taking progress photos etc; I honed my skills as an intern to help manage the site efficiently. As a rising senior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, I am eager to learn from another top of the line construction company and to start my career in the construction industry.
