At Backroads, the focus of my role is honing operations and logistics, where I have nurtured competencies in Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and working creatively to streamline systems. My responsibilities extend to educating staff, managing housing, and organizing equipment to ensure seamless experiences for our guests and team members. Beyond the operational expertise, my journey as a Trip Leader has equipped me with skills in real-time diagnostics, effective communication, and balancing group dynamics. These experiences have not only honed my problem-solving abilities but also deepened my appreciation for cultural exchange and the nuances of human connection, which I believe are pivotal in shaping a more cohesive work environment and candidly a more enjoyable, kind world. My life has been guided by human connection, each job I\'ve taken, and every job I hope to do, is centered around making humans feel more connected to one another. I am blessed to feel this connection, good and bad, and I hope to use that connection to help improve the way people communicate and make decisions for themselves.

   Create systems around housing and warehouse operations and educate fellow staff on these processes. On top of continuing to lead trips, I am responsible for managing all aspects of field house, establishing and maintain a storage space, and all Backroads equipment in an organized manner. Simply put, the job requires management of important regional systems so that all field staff are well equipped and supported throughout the season.
