My role combines fieldwork with office responsibilities, giving me hands-on experience in project management and construction operations. • Project Execution & Coordination: Work closely with field crews and supervisors to interpret construction drawings, develop work plans, and maintain quality standards. • Quantity Tracking & Cost Control: Perform quantity calculations, track installed materials, and assist in job cost reporting to keep projects on budget. • Field Engineering & Surveying: Support site layout, elevation determination, and data collection for as-built documentation. • Safety & Compliance: Participate in job hazard analysis (JHAs), safety meetings, and inspections to maintain a safe work environment. • Procurement & Logistics: Coordinate material deliveries, track procurement needs, and assist with purchase orders and subcontract preparation. • Project Documentation & Communication: Maintain daily reports, RFIs, change orders, and other project records while supporting communication with clients and vendors. • Leadership & Collaboration: Work with engineers, craft workers, and project managers to solve challenges and improve efficiency.This role has strengthened my technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills in the construction industry.
