ABOUT ANDREW JACKSON

I’m a General Manager and Managing Director in the pharmaceutical industry with over 20 years’ experience leading UK and UK & Ireland businesses through periods of significant change. My career has been built around delivering sustainable commercial performance in complex, highly regulated environments, while developing strong, purpose-led leadership teams.I currently lead Lundbeck’s UK & Ireland organisation as part of the Major EU5 & Canada leadership team, with full accountability for strategy, P&L, talent and culture. A key focus of my role is transforming the organisation to prepare for entry into the Neuro Rare disease space, building the capabilities and ways of working required to deliver successful launches and long-term value.Throughout my career, I’ve developed a reputation for driving clarity in uncertain environments — reshaping go-to-market models, optimising structures, and making timely, high-quality decisions that balance short-term performance with long-term sustainability.I’m passionate about developing people, creating momentum during change, and ensuring organisations stay focused on what matters most: delivering impact for patients while building resilient, high-performing teams.Alongside my executive role, I serve as a Board Member of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). In addition to representing the interests of smaller companies, I chair a Board-sponsored group focused on reputation within the industry, contributing to discussions on trust, innovation and the long-term standing of our sector in the UK.My views are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of my employer.
