I am a private funds lawyer with 10+ years of experience across in-house roles at leading GP sponsors, Big Law and most recently legal tech innovation. My practice has centered on the formation, governance and negotiation of private investment funds across private equity, real estate and credit strategies.I began my career at Rockbridge Capital, where I gained hands-on experience working directly with a sponsor on private fund launches. I then joined Kirkland & Ellis, advising top-tier GPs on fund formation, investor negotiations and governance matters. Building on that foundation, I returned to the sponsor side at CVC Credit Partners and BlackRock, supporting a range of fund formations, separately managed accounts, funds of one and co-investment vehicles bringing a commercially minded approach while remaining sensitive to legal and reputational risk.Most recently, I joined Covenant, an AI-driven legal tech startup transforming how LPs and advisors review LPAs and fund documentation. At Covenant, I’ve drawn on my funds legal background and AI tools to make LPA reviews more efficient and data-rich, giving clients both scalability and market intelligence.Across these roles, I’ve developed a broad toolkit:Fund Formation & Governance – structuring and drafting/negotiating PPMs, LPAs, side letters and co-investment arrangements.Cross-Perspective Experience – advising both GPs and LPs, giving me a unique understanding the market dynamics on both sides.Legal Innovation – leveraging AI to modernize fund documentation review and deliver scalable, data-driven insights for private markets.I am passionate about the future of private markets and the intersection of law, finance and technology.
