ABOUT ANDREW HUTTON

A highly motivated and well organised individual with a varied background in purchasing, buying, technical sales, strategic marketing, negotiating along with managing a team and valuable managerial experience.In my role as EMEA Product manager for Power & Batteries I am the main contact for all my suppliers and responsible to provide all the required infrastructure to ensure the data is correct, recommend improvements of our inventory profiles, negotiate pricing, create and improve sales tools including reference designs, associated selling, cross reference, technical newsletters, brochures and seminars. I am also involved in promotional activities, the development of campaigns with the Marcomms team for the focus suppliers and products. A consistent track record of successfully employing best business practices that improve efficiency, reduce operating costs whilst increasing productivity and profit.I work in close collaboration with many teams within Avnet with the end target of developing, agreeing, implementing, communicating, executing and monitoring the marketing strategies for all my suppliers and to ensure our long term growth.Confident and approachable, always willing to help and able to get along with both work colleagues and senior director and managers.
