I am an experienced teacher of Chemistry and Science who places a premium on thinking skills. We live in an information rich society, and our challenge for the future is to help our students to figure out what to do with that information.As a teacher, the quality I most value in myself is empathy. It might be a long time since I was a student in a classroom, but I still remember what it felt like sitting in a double lesson of theory on a sunny Friday afternoon. I hope that my energetic approach, ability to refer to real life applications, and a selection of really terrible jokes helps to foster a genuine life long love of learning.
