I manage a global team of media and content specialists who work with our international communications managers in our offices around the world.I also ensure all international communications plans are aligned to support our global strategy and enable us to tell Practical Action’s story effectively. And once we have our fantastic content we work with media contacts around the world to get make sure our work is understood and can be taken to scale so that more people can benefit.Key achievements and responsibilities- I secured and managed the 2021 Guardian Christmas appeal on Climate justice which raised money and profile for Practical Action- Co-ordinate editorial content for our website across all of our country offices to feed into our website and social channels- Manage our social and digital content strategy and oversee our content collection and delivery- Advise on, lead training for, and manage communications for crisis and incidents globally- Advise on and lead training in public speaking and external presentation for staff globally- Work closely with our policy and project teams globally to maximise the impact of our attendance at key events, publication of reports and project milestones- Work closely with acquisition and supporter retention teams to advise and provide content and media support for our key periods of activity- Manage content collection and story-telling across the organisation to co-ordinate with strategic plans and support all of our key external outreach- Lead on earned media coverage and reporting back
