About Andrew Haling
I am an experienced automation leader with a track record of delivering successful projects. My technical background enables me to bring together the three core components of any automation project: hardware, software, and biochemistry. In addition, my strong crossfunctional communication skills allow me to speak the right language to a wide variety of teams. From manufacturing to commercial, I am able to understand their needs and balance them to create a successful product.In particular, I am proud of my contributions to the Chromium Connect platform from 10x. This system enables walk-away automation of 10x’s single cell assays. It also provides a beginner-friendly interface that enables non-automation users to quickly tackle scientific challenges.My work now focuses on broadening the automation capabilities of the R&D group at 10x with both internal and external facing efforts.
