CFO and Board Member with a background in FTSE 250, PE and fund businesses. An Oxford graduate and ex Big 4 finance professional who has a strong track record in building and creating high performance teams and functions. Achieved demonstrable results in strategy, business development, M&A and transformation. Recruited as CFO of fund management at Arrow, in the lead up to the launch of the first fund (€1.7bn), to build the fund finance team and contribute to the development of all other fund functions. Arrow now has 2 flagship credit funds, a real estate fund and others in the pipeline with an FUM of €9.3bn.Promoted to Group CFO in October 2021 with the take private and acquisition of the business by TDR Capital.• Established the fund finance team, creating a robust control framework, treasury processes and foreign exchange hedging with a culture of zero tolerance for error. • First CFO on the Fund Manager Board in Jersey and sole Executive Director on the Fund Board in Luxembourg. Instrumental in setting the working pattern and agenda of Boards.As Finance Director at listed Private Equity Group, Electra, I was instrumental in establishing in house all executive functions required for a FTSE 250 Investment Trust including selection and implementation of accounting system, and smooth handover from former investment manager. Also a key player in strategic review to address both the structural limitations of a listed private equity fund and enhance the value of portfolio companies prior to sale.Previously, three years in a senior finance roles in the travel sector at Thomas Cook gaining FTSE 250 experience, focusing on transformation following the near collapse of the group in 2012. Successfully recruited and built the team, and used tools such as lean to streamline and improve efficiency, creating a world class finance function adding value alongside the numbers. In addition, commercial experience working with the Group team to dispose of a number of non-core businesses and later on as Finance lead in establishing the In-Destination-Services Division (£100m+ cost base) as a stand-alone business unit with a commercial focus.
