ABOUT ANDREW GRAY

I’m Andrew Gray — political tech founder, former lawyer and dad. Currently, I’m the Co-Founder and CEO of Suffrago AI — a civic tech platform revolutionising democratic engagement. We equip decision-makers with real-time, constituency-specific data and anonymised public sentiment. Our mission? Rebuild political trust from the ground up. Suffrago combines AI, human insight, and scalable journalism to help MPs, journalists, and citizens make better-informed decisions - faster, smarter, and locally grounded. → SEIS-approved and expanding globally (India next!). 🧠 Previously, I founded two law firms — Truth Legal (Harrogate, Leeds, and Hull) and Luscombe Gray — both built around the principle of Access to Justice. I’ve now successfully exited both. Across two decades, I led teams, represented thousands, and advocated in complex, sensitive legal cases. Before that, I was President of Harrogate Law Society. I also founded and led the Crowd Wisdom Project, a non-profit using ethical AI (including Polis) to map consensus and surface collective intelligence - especially in polarised spaces. In July 2023, I became the first political candidate to co-create a manifesto using AI, standing in the Selby and Ainsty by-election. I remain a firm believer that AI can strengthen democracy when used wisely. 🧭 I serve as a Non-Executive Director of JAAG (Just Algorithms Action Group), focused on ethical AI. Most recently, I sold my interest in an international school (Harrogate International Academy).
