ABOUT ANDREW GLENER
Andrew Glener is a senior at Emerson College studying Media Arts Production with a minor in Business Studies. Based in Mamaroneck, New York, Andrew has been a creative force for as long as he can remember, starting at the age of 7 when he performed in his first musical. He continued being involved in theatre and the performing arts, but when the whole world shut down in 2020, Andrew needed a new creative outlet. He began creating and posting scenes and skits on TikTok that were musical theatre-oriented, and this little hobby of his garnered over followers. This sparked his interest in the entertainment industry as a whole, as well as his desire to be a writer and director. Throughout his time at Emerson, Andrew has developed his skills in screenwriting and directing, as well as involving himself in multiple student films and studio television shows. Notable crew roles include: Logistics Producer (I’m Seeing Someone), Script Supervisor (Indulgence), and Stage Manager (The Box Score), among many others. Andrew has recently released projects of his own, including Back to First Position, a short film he wrote and directed, and the Alive Again music video, for which he served as both director and cinematographer, earning him an Emerson EVVY nomination for Outstanding Music Video. He is currently in post-production on his senior BFA thesis queer psychological drama short film, He’s Not Alone, and is completing his final semester in Los Angeles, working as a Development and Acquisitions Intern for Highland Film Group!
