ABOUT ANDREW FOLKERSON
With a Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry and over five years of research and consulting experience, I have developed and optimized methods for chemical lifecycle analysis while detecting and analyzing contaminant contaminations in agricultural biosolids, surpassing governmental guidelines by 100x and increasing stakeholder education. As a consultant for OMAFRA and Merck KGaA at the University of Toronto, I provide multi-disciplinary environmental risk solutions to inform chemical regulation and environmental sustainability. My passion is to communicate environmental science and sustainability to a broad audience, ranging from general audiences to highly technical experts. I have presented my recommendations and reports to various stakeholders, demonstrating my skills in research, sustainability practices, and data analytics. I am also pursuing a certificate in Project Management to enhance my professional development and career prospects.
