ABOUT ANDREW FENNELL

As an Executive Business Consultant I have spent the last 37 years partnering with senior stakeholders and helping them make great decisions. My recommendations rely upon thorough consideration of relevant financial, sales, marketing and operational information while anticipating strategy questions from leadership. I am an expert at using spreadsheets to organize my clients\' ideas, costs and market data to provide a clear picture of critical issues, risks and value drivers. I specialize in management consulting for technology & venture proposal valuation and converting those proposals into action-oriented business development plans. I am also highly skilled at using operational data to make business process improvement, staffing, investment, and change management recommendations. I have worked in supply chain (rail, MPC, freight, marine), procurement (contracts, indexing, negotiation support), aviation (acquisition, maintenance, operations), IT (hardware, software, service, labor) and treasury (leasing, licensing, funding, VC, acquisitions, divestitures) and have supported decisions with financial modeling in all of these area. I have exposure to, and leverage, market research, data analytics, and lean manufacturing using continuous improvement principles. My breadth of experience is one of my key assets and I\'m actively looking to continue working in a dynamic business, entrepreneurial, or manufacturing environment. In my current position I have consulted on over 600 technology and business development proposals. This includes a significant number of projects that were not recommended for further funding. Killing non-value add ideas is a primary deliverable and we consider our success rate top tier. I have also successfully completed the consolidation of 2 bulk liquid terminals and reconfigured 3 others using Six Sigma Green Belt principles for project management. I have implemented new data processing tools for 20 years of historical financial records and have also dramatically improved the $1.8B capital planning work process.
