In this position I serve as the sole professional staff to the seven-member Cache County Council, functioning as a de facto chief of staff and providing both policy and operational support.In this role, I coordinate administrative operations, manage calendars and the Council’s webpage, facilitate communication across departments, committees, and external agencies, and provide front-line technical and logistical support.My responsibilities include staffing several standing committees, preparing agendas and public notices, and ensuring smooth Council operations. I assist in reviewing departmental budgets, aligning fiscal requests with Council priorities, and have regularly reviewed authored or contributed to Council and state-level legislation.I also support the Council’s engagement at the Utah State Legislature by helping draft and advocate for bills, several of which were ultimately signed into law or vetoed.
