ABOUT ANDREW EMERSON
I\'m an experienced and dedicated Head Writer, Story Editor and scriptwriter for children\'s TV. I love collaborating with creative teams, animators and other writers, to make episodes and series that are crammed full of heart, imagination, warmth, mischief and fun. I was head writer for the International Emmy-nominated Dennis and Gnasher Unleashed! and for The Woohoos! on Milkshake! and Supertato on CBeebies. I was Head Writer/Story Editor for Rhyme Time Town, made for Netflix by DreamWorks Animation Television. My screenwriting credits include Let\'s Go, Bananas, Isadora Moon, Pip and Posy, Rastamouse, Tree Fu Tom, Go Jetters, The Furchester Hotel, Floogals, Bitz & Bob, Justin\'s House, Topsy and Tim, Bob the Builder, Dog Loves Books, Little Roy and lots of other fabulous animation and live-action kids\' shows. Series Development and Pilot Scriptwriting for companies such as DreamWorks Animation; Nickelodeon; Magic Light Pictures; CBeebies; CBBC; Encycle Studios; Snipple Originals. I\'ve written live stage shows for Tom and Jerry and Kung Fu Panda; and have dipped my toes into the interactive tooniverse by writing adventure stories on the CBeebies Storytime App. I write scripts and lyrics for children\'s theatre shows, and spend my spare time being bossed around by an opinionated Patterdale Terrier called Gertie.
