As Solution Architect, it is my responsibility to design customer solutions that support modern day technology plans across (SD) LAN,(SD) WAN, data centre, wireless, security and SASE environments. Helping customers carefully evaluate existing estate architecture and then diligently designing suitable solutions that map directly to the VMO2’s portfolio and customer specifications. As the design authority, it is my responsibility to capture requirements and migration plans within official design documentation, for both internal VMO2 and customer reference, with creation and ownership of bill of materials and statement of works to support customer solutions.Working across a UK wide customer base, covering Public Sector (Health, Education, Blue Light and Justice, Local and Central Government) and Enterprise (small to large) clients. Full creation and ownership of official design documentation, capturing statement of works, equipment lists and migration plans that are relevant to customer requirements. Use of Cisco/Fortinet commerce tools to create equipment lists/bill of materials, both for budgetary and official design requirements with stakeholder engagement. Leading as the subject matter expert on all solutions and services, providing interlock support between internal sales/specialist teams and working together direct with customers Leading all solution design requirements on competitive tenders and RFI/RFP’s.
