ABOUT ANDREW ELCIK
Currently serves as the M&A Audit and Assurance Leader, a position I have held since June of 2021. In this new role, I am tasked with strengthening the firm’s go-to-market capabilities and aligning the operating approach across all businesses. Previous to this role, I served as the National Managing Partner for Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) Services where I led the execution of a coordinated strategy for the Audit and Assurance (A&A) practice. I also served as a member of the US Audit and Assurance Executive Committee. In addition, I was one of the key leaders who designed and co-led the implementation of the AATS Joint go-to-market coordination between A&A and Advisory. Prior to ARA, I served as one of the senior partners in Special Acquisition Services (SAS), serving a large global investment firm. I have worked on almost 200 different transactions that span various industries in 20 different countries and 5 continents, providing direct advisory services to this distinguished client and their portfolio of companies. I was seconded to Hong Kong in 2006 and spent 5 years serving as Managing Director and Leader of the SAS Group in the Asia Pacific region. During this time in the region, I teamed with Deloitte’s local resources in 10 different geographies and lead over 75 transactions. From 1998 - I participated in numerous transactions in the UK and Continental Europe with the goal of exporting SAS “Best Practices” to Deloitte’s newly formed UK SAS and German teams. Youngest and only M&A member selected for the Firm’s inaugural Next Generation Program. The program is intended to train and provide network building opportunities for future firm leaders from the Accounting and ERS Function. I hold a B.S. in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University School of Business. I am a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to my involvement in various local and community organizations and activities, I served for many years as advisor to the Case Western Reserve Admissions Program.
