I am a highly motivated and dynamic Manager, with valuable experience of managing within a SMB and large multinational companies.Having worked my way up from a hands on technical role I am well placed to manage within a manufacturing environment while delivering favourable KPI\'s.I have applied knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and tooling and found great success in both bespoke high specification production along with high volume quality driven manufacturing for repeat business.Throughput and cost improvement often the end results, I also successfully can build and manage a team with proven people development skills and performance management.My journey with Hitachi Rail now spanning over ten years, has seen me progress from a Section Leader to Production Manager to the role of Continuous Improvement Site Lead at Newton Aycliffe. I am now working as a dedicated member of the UK Quality team at Hitachi Rail UK. I am proud to have been part of the successes and challenges Newton Aycliffe have faced during this time and in my new role I am committed to integrating and supporting CI initiatives, facilitating improvement events, and ensuring the effective management of CI processes and procedures. My goal is to deliver a competitive and world-class Quality and CI culture across Hitachi Rail UK.I am happily married with 4 great kids and this takes up most of my time outside work.
