We are in a era of huge step change and innovation, the dawn of automation, AI and advanced computing processes like Quantum. It is my goal to enable leading FSI companies to ensure optimised speed of thought, collaboration and for visibility/audit of the decisions processed by AI within a software supply chain framework thats dramatically improves time to market, can embrace new ways of working and heighten collaboration, audit and compliance - to go fast but SAFE. Whhat I have described is the outcomes enabled by GITLAB ULTIMATE, being observed first hand at leading FS companies like NATWEST, LSEG and Santander.Taking the software centric values created by Pivotal Inc and moulding to the engineering, hyper scale of Vmware we move into the next generation of Developer self-service, multi-cloud patterns and platforms with VMware Tanzu - super excited to be bringing the learnings from leading digital engagements in FSI to the Tanzu team. Our philosophy stands:\"Velocity\" is the currency by which we wish to be measured, by the companies that we share digital transformation engagements. This is the velocity in bringing quality innovative products to market, to validate product features/capabilities through lean management principles, the speed in which Test Driven development and pairing provides quality software and for which ops teams can now patch and secure the cloud in hours and minutes rather than months.My career has been dedicated to continuously improving process and people interactions through six sigma/Kanban/CI engineering methods, advanced analytics, Straight through processing/middleware, Cloud Platform/PaaS/Container solutions and XP/lean design principles.This experience spans over 20 years across all types of industry from Finserv, Manufacturing, Media Insurance and Public sector.
