I am a servant leader & enjoy working on & crafting technology based solutions for difficult problems that have not yet been solved.I am passionate about designing and implementing easy to use, well documented, robust API\'s and have spent most of my career creating them either as RESTful web services or back end C/C++ and C#.NET Core modules. I have created simple API\'s such as for just sending notifications or compressing data to more complicated projects such as an asset change management API that contained a serious amount of work flow and many more.I also have done a lot of system integrations by creating custom middle-ware proxies as well as many integrations including hardware such as robotics, cameras, finger print readers, power supplies, network switches and numerous other devices. I have a lot of experience working on distributed systems and understand n-tier architecture. It always brings me joy to see API\'s I have worked on used by UI\'s, system integrations, 3rd parties, or just colleagues in back end code. In addition to that I am a Software Engineer with a broad range of experience over the last ~17 years mainly consisting of development in C/C++ and C#.NET Core as well as many scripting languages including Javascript and Perl. Experienced in JavaScript based front end technologies and most comfortable with React.I am an efficient problem solver who easily \'wears many hats\' and learns new technologies and languages quickly bringing great value to start-up and SMB/SME environments which I enjoy.I have worked in a wide range of environments and excelled in them all from starting out in a very small software company of under 5 people as well as at an employer which was under 100 employees but was then acquired by a large multi-billion dollar corporation with over employees world wide.Most recently I am on the Offerpad team, which is the first profitable iBuyer, where we are innovating the real estate industry via technology. Joined in 2018 during startup phase, going public in 2021 ($2.7B valuation) & leading a fully remote team for ~4 years now.I strive for excellence in everything I do and always work hard to meet my goals.
