Employed on behalf of ExxonMobil as QC Client Representative, working offshore Guyana. I worked onboard the FDS2 pipelay vessel during Quad joint fabrication / ‘J’ lay pipeline operations and the Constellation for the above water riser tie-ins as part of the Liza, Liza 2, Payara and Yellowtail projects. Work involved witnessing welding and coating activities during pipeline and riser installations, pipe line end termination’s (PLET’s) and inline tees (ILT’s). The pipelines consisted of various size carbon steel riser, production, water injection and gas lines coated with FBE, CMPP and IMPP. NDT used was AUT (with UT and MT on repairs).
