I am responsible for leading marketing and business development for Shoosmiths largest division ‘Advisory Services’, which incorporates Litigation, Commercial, Regulatory and ESG, Pensions and Employment. I also manage the energy sector and a number of clients. I have developed and implemented a totally new business development and marketing plan for the Advisory Service division, giving the firm’s leadership team total transparency across all its constituent teams for the first time, as well as driving the change necessary to align to the firm’s new chosen markets strategy. I have introduced a new client focused working methodology to my stakeholder groups, developed targeting plans and delivered coaching as we initiate the culture change necessary to achieve our upper mid-market ambitions. Litigation is one of the firm’s three key pillars and I recently led the development and launch of a major new annual report: Litigation risk 2024, which recently achieved the firm’s highest online engagement metrics and is establishing a voice for litigators across the firm.
