Legal Function: Member of the senior executive leadership team and responsible for advising on all aspects of Export Packers\' business across a diverse array of legal and compliance matters in multiple jurisdictions, including- negotiating and providing advice in respect of commercial agreements, including master product supply/distribution, services, employment, leases/licenses (including IP-related), confidentiality and IT, among others- trade law and regulatory compliance relating to trade, including vendor/customer onboarding and sanctions compliance (both Canada and the USA)- dispute assessment and management, including disputes with suppliers, customers, employees, regulators, non-governmental organizations, and indirect consumers (personal injury/product liability and class actions)- acting as corporate secretary of each of the Export Packers\' group of companies.Strategic Initiatives: Responsible for business strategy, negotiation and implementation of key strategic initiatives, including- Evaluation and negotiation of potential strategic investments, acquisitions and divestitures related to the business (eg. Green Ocean® - 2023; Toppits® - 2024). Management and assessment of Export Packers\' existing investments- Development of vendor and customer onboarding processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.Crisis Management: Advising the CEO and executive leadership team in crisis situations and determining the organization\'s response.
