Lead engineering activities for utility-scale battery energy storage projects from design through commissioning, ensuring successful execution and adherence to project timelines.• Develop technical specifications, conduct vendor evaluations, and oversee supplier qualifications, including testing and commissioning processes.• Support procurement by managing supplier information, generating technical requirements, and maintaining Q&A logs to facilitate clear communication.• Review and assess technical aspects of EPC bidder proposals, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards.• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and project alignment.• Manage engineering consultants, host coordination and design review meetings, and oversee the resolution of design comments.• Review Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures and reports, inspect construction work, and assist in resolving technical issues on-site.• Recommend improvements to product design or processes based on project-specific lessons learned and value engineering efforts.• Maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors and key stakeholders to ensure project success.
