I am responsible for all aspects of product assortment, pricing, replenishment and promotions of Cash-Wa Distributing\'s Kearney, NE and Aberdeen, SD distribution centers. Developing productive business relationships to ensure a win-win scenario for our suppliers, ourselves, and our customers. Mgr, and (6) Exclusive Brands Mgr.Responsibilities-Reviews, analyzes and implements supply chain efficiencies, including cost of goods improvement, logistics improvement, and days on hand-Establishes annual category objectives and plans; advises sales and marketing of plans-Leads a team of Category Managers that works to ensure correct product mix and inventory levels for assigned categories in order to satisfy customer needs and branch objectives-Works with Sales and Marketing to achieve target profit margins across all categories-Understands & studies industry trends, emerging concepts and market segments-Negotiates Vendor Programs with direct vendor representatives and/or brokers-Works with Marketing to develop Merchandising Activities (sales events, flyers, promotions)-Provides assistance with branch level merchandising events, including regional food shows-Responsible for regular review of vendor contracts-Prepares and analyzes applicable reports-Sets acceptable goals and incentives for the category manager team, related to their specific categories, to meet branch level goals related to margin.

As the Director of Category Management at Cash-Wa Distributing, I oversee the product assortment, pricing, replenishment, and promotions for two distribution centers. I work with our procurement department to ensure the optimal product mix and inventory levels for our suppliers, ourselves, and our customers. I lead a team of 5 individuals who are responsible for strategic sourcing for their respective category assortment.I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2020 with a bachelor\'s degree in business administration with an emphasis in supply chain management.
