ABOUT ANDREW BROWN

With over 10 years’ experience in this field, I have always been driven by a desire to help businesses achieve success through strategic planning and in effective execution. Resulting in developing a deep understanding of project management, cost reduction strategies, and lean methodologies. I am a firm believer in the power of Lean methodologies and have successfully implemented them in various projects. Ensuing significant cost savings and improved processes. I place a significant amount of value in the power of developing and empowering team members to reach their full potential. I have successfully coached and mentored individuals at various levels, from interns to senior managers, and service users of a charity. And delivered training of Greenbelts and certification of Six Sigma Greenbelts etc. Leading to being witness to great results in their personal and professional growth.I recognise that each project and team does require a unique approach to achieve success. And that’s why I would consider myself a situational leader. My leadership style allows me to adapt to different industries and effectively lead diverse teams to achieve project milestones. I am passionate about the benefits of investing in the development of my team members to empower them in reaching their full potential and to deliver exceptional results. I am experienced in delivering coaching and mentoring support and guidance to further enhance existing skills-set and to support in embedding a root cause type of mindset in relation to problem solving to aid with generation of potential solutions. I am someone who thrives in high-pressured situations and am known for my ability to remain calm and level-headed whilst finding win-win solutions. Such as identifying and implementing cost-saving methods to ensure the smooth operation of several projects. As a creative-problem solver, I apply a critical and strategic approach to analyse often complex business situations to generate effective solutions. Whilst often applying my negotiating skills in securing beneficial deals for my previous employers whether that be for clients, suppliers, or stakeholders. I am a firm believer in fostering open communication right from the start of a project. To allow strong working relationships to grow and develop with all internal and external stakeholders.
