About Andrew Boro

UC Berkeley graduate with over 4 years of professional sales and customer service experience. I grew up in the Bay Area, where I developed a strong work ethic as a teenager and gained valuable exposure to various industries, from hospitality to education. As a college student, I spent 2 semesters abroad in Spain, where I studied Spanish and immersed myself in the Madrid culture, as well as backpacked to over 15 European countries, staying in hosels and meeting travelers from around the world. After graduation, I moved to South Korea to be on the other side of the classroom and teach English to middle school students in the city of Daegu. I traveled all over South Korea, as well as Japan and Thailand. I\'m passionate about connecting with diverse groups of people, learning from different cultures, building lasting relationships, and creating situations where everybody benefits. What drives me is providing my clients with a wonderful customer experience and ensuring their needs have been met. During my time as an Account Executive at Yelp, I became passionate about small businesses and self-employment, while I helped realtors, plumbers, accountants, hairstylists, lawyers, tattoo artists, and more connect with new clients. I then got promoted to manage the advertising campaigns of existing clients, where I developed deeper relationships on an ongoing basis. This experience inspired me to pursue my own entrepreneurial journey, so at the start of 2019 I began investing in the stock market and discovered my new passion. I researched the market heavily, significantly stepped up my business acumen, joined multiple online investment forums where I learned from experienced money managers, analysts, entrepreneurs, investors, and traders. Throughout the pandemic I went all in on my passion for markets, trading and investing, and also became an Uber driver to add additional income. Uber has given me the opportunity to meet thousands of personalities in San Francisco, Houston, and Austin, as well as think and act as a business owner.
