ABOUT ANDREW BORKOWSKI

I\'m a co-founder and Chief Executive of Fullbrook Thorpe Investments LLP, a family investment fund established in April 2015 with Andy and Tom Leaver. Based in Derbyshire, the company has control over £50m of funds which we have invested in a wide variety of different sectors including pharmaceuticals, financial services, leisure and tourism, energy services, manufacturing, and property development. The company invests in profitable UK SMEs with enterprise values of up to £25m through a wide range of transaction types including, but not limited to, management buy outs, acquisition finance and development capital. The firm specialises in investing up to £5m of equity finance into businesses, however, larger investments can also be made via co-investment with one or more private equity partners such as LDC, Maven Capital Partners, Foresight Group and Yorkshire Fund Managers as well as through strategic links with other family office investors. Prior to co-founding Fullbrook Thorpe Investments, I was a partner at one of the UK’s largest national commercial law firms, Geldards LLP, specialising in providing international commercial and strategic advice, including mergers and acquisitions, fundraising and IPOs to a range of entrepreneurs, private businesses and global corporations. I am also Executive Chairman of Bionical Solutions Limited, Executive Deputy Chairman of Bionical Limited, Chairman of Claven Group Limited as well as holding various other directorships.
