We are all more than one thing. In fact we are all many things. You can be a CEO, and a mother, a wife, a daughter etc. many subjugate many of our other ‘sides’ in favour of one or other. I’ve lead businesses for a long time. I loved my work, my team and colleagues, genuinely. One day, when we were restructuring our business, I said to my boss ‘maybe I could go? I’ll go anyway in a couple of years.’ We agreed terms and I finished this part of ‘me.’ I had lots to do. I’ve always wanted to more seriously approach other interests: my faith, my love of music and so I switched priorities. It has been a great step. I loved what I did before, and I love this new journey. Somethings continue. I continue to do what I do with integrity, honesty and passion.
