ABOUT ANDREW BEARDALL
As an attorney-at-law for more than two decades, I tap into my experience every day, wearing many hats including Chief Operating Officer or RapidAscent, a cybersecurity training company, a founding partner of Immortal Cyber, a capabilities and cyber defense government contractor, and an active participant in Riphean Investments, a private equity group, among many others. In the insurance and Risk Management world, I have been the Founder and COO of a Captive Insurance Company for government contractors, authored insurance policies and served as a partner in a full service insurance agency. I earned my Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, but my educational journey began on a slightly different path. As an undergrad, I attended the University of Maryland College Park where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Later I went on to obtain a Master of Science in Neuroscience from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. My diverse background gives me a strong analytical way of thinking. I’m able to assist my clients with the challenges they face dealing with the government, which can be a jungle of regulatory burdens. Understanding the specific risks our clients face as Federal IT contractors is the key value I bring to the Govcon realm. I specialize in providing guidance in the areas of insurance consulting, subcontractor compliance, employee benefits, business operations, risk management and contract review. I have seasoned expertise in building a solid foundation for our client’s financial security. From reviewing documents for agency or prime contractors, to ensuring subcontractor compliance with both contracting and FAR Regulations, I’m an expert at providing well-rounded business counsel. Bottom line—I keep the train running smoothly on the tracks. I understand how working in the technology services industry requires a business to stay on top of rapidly evolving systems, software and hardware updates, and more.
