I believe that you can only get out of something what has been put in. This might appear to be a simple and maybe obvious statement but it holds true for everything. If you participate in a not-for profit or an organization you can\'t simply turn up and hope to be the recipient of information or support, you have to give back and participate so that others can gain from your experiences. This simple mantra is how I approach all situations, If I want to get more out of life then I have to put in more, if I want to get more out of my work then I have to be prepared to put in more effort. This is what drives me at work, at home and in my volunteering and giving.If you commit to average then you should expect to be average. In my professional life I have been and continue to be blessed by opportunity that feeds my thirst for information and variety.
