About Andrew B. Serling

I am the Chief Business Development Officer and Senior Managing Director at CW/RealInsight/Marketplace and bring over 40 years of experience in Real Estate Finance and Structured Products. In 2025 I was the recipient of GlobeSt’s Rainmakers in CRE Debt, Equity and Finance award. CW is a Commercial Real Estate Services Company powered by data analytics and technology. I am responsible for all New Business, Client Strategies, and Client Relationships across the Company’s business lines. The company’s primary business lines are Real Estate (CW Commercial Asset Management) and Financial Technology ( RealInsight, RealInsight Marketplace and Data). Since I arrived at CW in 2015 I have more than doubled CW Financial Services LLC AUM to over $230B, built the Freddie Mac Special Servicing business from the ground up and expanded the company into SASB, CLO, and Fannie Mae Servicing as well as guided the technology business, Realinsight, into a third party cloud based product. I built the Freddie Mac Special Servicing and Diligence business into the #1 ranked Special Servicer in the industry, with over $160 Billion in assets under management. The MBA ranked CW the #1 overall Special Servicer in the Nation in their 2021, 2022,2023, 2024 rankings and has ranked CW as the #1 Freddie Mac Special Servicer for 5 consecutive years. Prior to joining CW, I was Head of Ranieri Partners Asset Management (RPAM) a Structured Products Investment Advisor headed by “The Father of Mortgage Backed Securities” Lew Ranieri. Before that I spent 15 years with Berkadia and its predecessor company\'s (Capmark Investments LLC, GMAC Investment Advisors) as Head Trader and Co-Head of High Yield Investments. I was a founding member of GMAC Investment Advisors ($13BB AUM), as well as an original member of the CMBS Trading business at Lehman Brothers. I started at Lehman Brothers as their final and sole member of The Lehman Brothers Management Associate Program. I started my career as the founding Analyst for Economists Inc, now called Secretariat Economists in Washington DC. That opportunity cleared a path to a career trading, working for Specialist Adler Coleman on the Floor of the New York Stock Exchange. I have been a Registered Investment Advisor holding FINRA series 7, 66 and 63 licenses and I am a licensed Real Estate Broker in New York. I hold a BA in Economics from The George Washington University, an MBA in Finance, and a Masters in Real Estate Investment and Development from New York University.
