I provide a range of engineering services for designing, building and operating industrial water treatment systems. I am currently focused in developing technologies in the field of environmental remediation through the design of novel treatment systems. Developing passive water treatment techniques and source control methods has been a recent focus. I have research interests in advanced water treatment; using strategies of deploying engineered materials and systems to tackle challenging environmental problems. My expertise includes both active and passive approaches for heavy metals, selenium (Se) and arsenic (As) removal from mine-impacted water, brine and flue gas desulphurization (FGD) wastewater.
