ABOUT ANDREW ATKINS
Andrew Atkins is currently the Director of Baseball Operations at The Ripken Experience Aberdeen. In December 2021, Andrew graduated with a Master of Science in Sport Management degree from Mount St. Mary’s University. In May 2020, Andrew graduated, cum laude, from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a double major in Economics and Public Policy. Prior to graduating with his Master’s, Andrew completed an internship in Community Sports at Howard County Recreation and Parks. Here he designed, ran, promoted, and did administrative work on his own sports league. He additionally gained experience working at nationally-renowned lacrosse tournaments. Prior to graduating with his Bachelor’s, Andrew completed an internship in the Marketing Department at Factory Athletics. Here he specialized in social media. His duties included creating content for the Twitter and Facebook pages, scheduling posts to be sent, writing articles on players, and researching baseball statistics. Skills include: Event management, social media operations, public speaking, communications, organization, writing, coaching, leadership, Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop, and R Studio.
