Delta g is a quantum technology and gravity gradiometry company on a mission to make gravity sensing technology as ubiquitous as GPS, radar and telecoms. Spinning out from the University of Birmingham in 2023, our technology is the world’s first quantum technology based gravity gradient capability to successfully detect buried features from their gravity profile alone.Building from the success of our research we secured significant private investment to transition this technology from prototype into a production ready model through an accelerated technology programme. As the inventor of core Delta g I, with almost a decade of expertise in quantum technology, cold atoms, and all the enabling technologies, my role within the company is to shape and deliver our technology programme.Supported by both private investment and government grants we are leveraging our exclusively licensed IP to develop the worlds first turn-key gravity gradiometer based on quantum technology, with unprecedented size, weight, power and sensitivity.
