ABOUT ANDRES HERNANDEZ MARTINEZ
My name is Andres Hernandez, I am a senior finance and Business Systems and Analytics double major at La Salle University, in Philadelphia, PA. In addition to my studies, I participate in the La Salle Men’s Cross Country and Track program as a distance runner. I travelled to the United States from New Zealand to find excellence in the sport of running, through Division I Athletics, and to simultaneously progress my skills, abilities, and connections, so that I may pursue a future career in the finance industry. As a naturally competitive person, I continuously commit myself to achieve greatness in both sports and academics. As an individual who could not afford the luxury of an American education without the assistance of athletic scholarships, the statement of giving back, truthfully resonates with me. I am fortunate to be the recipient of much aid and support during my time in the US. I can hopefully be able to offer some support and opportunity to others.
