Provide energy procurement analysis• RFP development, market assessment, risk management, strategy development, contract negotiation, contract management, and product management. • Develop and implement complex energy procurement and risk management strategies. • Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding regulatory markets. • Meet regularly with management at the different divisions to discuss strategies and performance. • Develop strategies that include complex purchasing options, i.e. heat rate, portfolio approaches, block/index, Renewable Supply (PPAs, VPPAs and REC analysis).• Communicate with utilities, local distribution companies, and public utility commissions to gather timely, accurate, and complete energy market intelligence. • Assist in development of new energy procurement products including Big Data gathering and Dashboard development. • Collaborate with the engineering divisions on energy conservation projects and sustainability.• Manage Interns and contractors working for the Energy Procurement Team.• Implement ESG and GHG protocols across all divisions.• Implement environmental company wide goals.• Manage Scope 1-2-3 decarbonization.
