Hello LinkedIn Community!My name is Andres Roberto Cardenas, and I’m currently a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering major at the University of California, Merced. I’m actively seeking full-time opportunities in Mechanical Engineering, particularly in Design, Manufacturing, or Testing, to apply my growing skills and contribute to impactful projects.I had the privilege of interning at Northrop Grumman as a Design Assurance Intern, where I familiarized myself in Siemens NX CAD and Common Product Lifecycle Management. During my time there, I also became proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T), furthering my understanding of how precision and detail drive design excellence.In addition to my technical experience, I served as the Vice President for the UC Merced chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), where I worked closely with my peers to promote STEM initiatives and foster a supportive community for underrepresented students.
