Helping CFOs and Owners validate indirect spend — before any change is made.I work with UK business owners and CFOs on one of the least visible areas of the P&L: indirect spend.Indirect spend categories are constantly evolving. Pricing structures shift, supplier behaviour changes, and market conditions move over time.(The practical question is whether there’s enough time and internal capacity to keep revisiting these categories regularly, with a clear view of cost drivers, risk and realistic options.)My role is to bring clarity before change.I apply a validation-first approach, helping organisations sense-check assumptions, confirm where improvements are realistic, and understand risk before any disruption is introduced. The focus is on low-risk, non-critical categories where progress can be assessed safely and with minimal demand on internal teams.I work incumbent-first, prioritising continuity, operational stability and informed decision-making over forced supplier change or complex projects.Where opportunities are validated, I support a low-risk route to implementation through aggregated procurement, helping businesses move from insight to action without disruption.Initial focus areas include:Packaging · Logistics · 3PL · Waste · Stationery & Office SuppliesI am not a traditional procurement consultant.
