Senior Software Engineer with 12+ years of experience working on Ruby on Rails backends.Over the years I\'ve built and scaled distributed systems that handle high traffic loads, worked with complex PostgreSQL setups including sharding, replication, and connection pooling with PgBouncer, and delivered payment processing and reconciliation systems where data accuracy really matters.I\'ve connected products to dozens of external APIs - payment providers, accounting tools, airline systems, and banking loyalty platforms - making sure these integrations are stable, handle failures gracefully, and work reliably at scale.My day-to-day stack includes Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, Redis for caching and queuing, PostgreSQL as the primary database, and RSpec for testing.
