Digitization and the increasing pressure from new entrants into established markets forces a modern approach to data management and analytics in nearly all organizations. Faster data like sensor data from the Internet of Things need real-time treatment. Regulatory requirements and data protection need to be treated strategically. Business users need access to available and high-quality data in order to derive value and new services out of the stories the data will tell through analytics.Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Data/Digital Officers (CDOs) and CEOs are increasingly accountable for the data as a strategic asset. Data and their constant analytics are the core of most future business models in the digitized world. A modern and agile data management strategy as a prerequisite for tomorrows growth is number 1 task at most companies I talk to. In my role I counsel organizations to get on a modernization route towards an analytical and data driven organization. Together with my team of experienced data management consultants and analytics experts I\'m helping our customers to start and implement a stepwise change management journey including the dimensions technology, people and processes.
