As VP & Head of Engineering at SAP Signavio Process AI, I lead the strategy and execution behind our AI portfolio—advancing process modeling, mining, prediction, and simulation. A key focus of my work is driving the resurgence of Multi-Agent Systems, integrating GenAI with agent-based architectures to transform how organizations understand and automate complex processes at scale.My career in AI and MAS began in 1995 at DFKI, one of the world’s leading research institutes for artificial intelligence. With nearly 30 years of deep expertise in multi-agent coordination, intelligent systems, and large-scale AI engineering, I have built and led high-performing teams across domains including 3D simulation, gaming AI, IoT, RPA, and low-code/no-code automation. I completed my PhD in Multi-Agent Systems in 2005, and this foundation continues to shape the next generation of enterprise AI - Right NOW.Entrepreneurial by nature, I consistently identify emerging opportunities, build new capabilities from the ground up, and deliver innovations that accelerate business transformation.
