About Andreas Carlos Freund
Based in New York, I\'m a co-founder and the CTO at Tumoni, where we\'re building borderless financial services for the 5M Central Americans in the US and their 45M loved ones back home. Currently on leave from pursuing a Masters in Computer Science at Columbia Engineering. At Columbia, I served as a researcher at Professor Henning Schulzrinne’s Internet Real-Time Lab. My main research focus is on the application, deployment, and performance of internet technologies at the intersection with economics and policy. My technical interests include data science, software engineering, and cyber security, which I am passionate about applying through cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustainable, secure, and useful insights and products.
