ABOUT ANDREAS RAABE
I’ve spent pretty much my entire career in pharma — from pipettes to P & Ls. Across Europe, North America, and Asia, I’ve worked my way through the lab bench, into consulting, into management, and eventually back to building companies. Today, I run a multinational CDMO trying to do things differently — and actually make a dent in a system that too often resists change.I genuinely believe pharma is an inherently good industry. At its best, it saves lives, drives science forward, and strengthens public health on a global scale. But that only works if we hold ourselves to the highest standards — ethically, professionally, and with plans that survive contact with reality.I’m a scientist by training, with a Ph.D. in biomedicine from EMBL, Imperial College London, and Université Montpellier — and an M.Sc. from the Max-Planck-Institute and University of Freiburg. Academia was fun. Impact is thrilling.Born in Africa, raised around the world, and still driven by curiosity more than anything else. I’ve travelled to 60+ countries and firmly believe curiosity remains the best passport.Currently, I sit on the board of a brilliant MedTech company and serve as Chairman of YPO Munich — a global community of leaders who believe there’s always room to grow.
