The first wirless Hotzone (PF-WLAN) in a German Town, covering a few sqare kilometeres in Pforzheim has been in operation since 2015 and is operated by SKYTRON. SKYTRON is a Internet Service Provider with own infrastructure for broadband services either through directional radio or fiber connections to the business or private customer. Directional radio services upto 10 Gbit are possible, redundancy with fiber / radio connections our daily business. We have been deploying our own radio stations in over 300 towns/villages in Baden Wuerttemberg, Bayern and Rhinland Palantine and run free WLAN Hotspots throughout these areas and towns.SKYTRON ist ein Internet Service Provider mit eigener Infrastruktur für Breitbanddienste über Glasfaser und/oder Funktechnologie. SKYTRON bietet unter anderem Standortvernetzungen, redundante Internetanbindungen, Punkt zu Punktverbindungen, VoIP Services (Telefonie), Webhosting, Mailserver und Firewall-lösungen an. Ebenso hat SKYTRON in Deutschland das erste flächendeckende Städte-WLAN in Pforzheim aufgebaut und ist mittlerweile Betreiber von flächendeckenden WLANs für mehrere Städte und Gemeinden. Anschlüsse über Glasfaser oder Funk mit bis zu 10 Gbit/s können wir unseren Kunden schnell und kurzfristig im Ausbaugebiet zur Verfügung stellen.
