ABOUT ANDREAS KARLSSON
Professional Engineer with over 15 years of project management and structural engineering experience including new building design, retrofit and evaluations of existing buildings and peer reviews. Andreas is an industry leader in the design and execution of support structures for PV panels (photovoltaic) and has been involved in projects (parking garages, carports, ground mount and roof top) totaling over 2 GW. Responsible for product development and electrical integration for streamlined project execution and maximized value. Andreas has been an active member of the Structural Engineer\'s Association of California (SEAOC) throughout his career and is currently serving as a voting member of the PV sub-committee. The PV sub-committee most recent work includes developing and publishing the PV1 and PV2 documents with the goal to standardize and codify how PV design is performed.
